DBA Data BASE Administrator

DBA Data BASE Administrator for products, reports and statistics (M/F) 

Main functions 
Will create new families and subfamilies and products in the database and make the link with the accounting. The DBA will replicate all products in all companies to avoid different products ID for same final product. He/She will ensure all core data are always replicated between companies. He will ensure that all products, supplier, fixed assets needed data are in the database. He/She also will ensure that any new project or program is created that all cost center are created so procurement via portal is done. Later on he/she will also ensure the fixed assets are maintained in the system making regular spots audits has this is a key point for audit purpose and compliance with Parcel system. He/She will ensure that there are no pending transactions blocked or pending in the system and will take necessary actions join to the users in order to solve those issues. He/She will oversee all discrepancies or pending movements in the systems. He/She will also ensure all needed statistics are available on the reporting drive for management and are always consistent. He/She has to regularly liaise with managers in order to detect needs of data and proactively produce statistics and reports. He/She will create future dashboards and any reports needed in all companies. 
Reporting and base 
The DBA is responding to the financial manager. 
He/She can be based in Beira. 
Must be IT or management profile with large experience in business analysis and accounting analysis and have large experience in building reports and drilling down in database. Education: A bachelor's degree in accounting, management or information technology. 
Certifications: Primavera certification is an advantage and any Microsoft Office suite certificate is an advantage. Experience: Minimum five years working experience with ERP software of which a minimum of three years of data management, statistic and report production experience in a similar function. Experience in creating complex query definitions that allow data to be extracted and training of colleagues in how to input and extract data is also an advantage. 
IT skills
Knowledge of Primavera and office extension represents an advantage. Advanced Xcel practice is mandatory. Understanding of structured query language (SQL). 
Other skills 
Analytical skills DBAs must monitor the database and evaluate complex information coming from a variety of sources. DBA must show strong analytical and organisational skills. 
Communication skills The DBA must communicate effectively with managers and all users. He/She must show good skills of managing users claims and error reporting. He /She must show ability to work well in a fast paced environment
Detail oriented Working with a database requires the administrator to have an understanding of complex systems, and how a minor error can cause major problems. DBA must have eye for detail and accuracy. 
Problem-solving skills. When problems come up, administrators must troubleshoot them and resolve the problems to guarantee integrity of the data and reports. 
Work Schedule
Full time.
