Interviewing Students

September 4, 2013

Bob Poole who is living and filming for PBS in Gorongosa for 1.5 years interviewed our students this week. Many millions of viewers across the world will hear their stories of experiencing elephants and lions for the first time in a Park adjacent to their hometown and becoming advocates and ambassadors for these critically threatened species. They are the first local women from Gorongosa (and even from Mozambique) to work directly with lions. For the next 6 weeks they will work with Herculano Sando and Adrienne McGill at the Community Education Center educating kids from throughout the Park's buffer zone, and on setting up a 1st-class hands-on natural-history display. Viva Leões!
