Daily Conservation Fee
The daily conservation fee that visitors pay is used to employ game scouts and support conservation programs that help protect the park’s wildlife, resources, and its visitors. Prices may be adjusted periodically due to variations in exchange rates.

- Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of the total payment, or upon credit card deposit for the first night’s charge.
- Reservations that were secured by credit card deposit have to be paid in full upon check-in.
- Unconfirmed reservations may be cancelled without prior notice.
- There will be a full refund for cancellation up to 24 hours before the arrival date.
- The first night of the stay will be charged for a cancellation made less than 24 hours before the arrival date.
- The first night of the stay will be charged for no-shows.
- No refund is given for an early departure of one night.
- If you depart early and you give more than 24 hours notice, you won’t be charged for the nights you don’t stay.
- If you depart early but you give less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged for the nights you don’t stay.
*Note: If you plan to pay with US cash in Gorongosa, all bills must be dated 2008 or later. Due to restrictions in the Mozambican banking system, Gorongosa will not accept US currency older than 2008.
