My name is Liria Vilanculos. I am from Chimoio where I live with my 8-year-old son. Right now, I am attending the third year of Accounting, Financial Auditing and Management at the Higher School for Economy and Management in Chimoio.
My family is from the south of Mozambique. We are farmers and in the moment, we are the biggest producers of litchi in Manica Province. I had a life divided between Chimoio, Beira and Maputo. I had my first job in Beira at GTZ Saude, HIV/AIDS project where I stayed for two years working in reception and as a secretary. Later, I worked for International HIV/AIDS Alliance for four years as an Administrative Assistant.
After that, I started working for Savoo Trading/Prime Seed, a business that sells agricultural products and inputs, as a sales promoter while also attending to administrative services for two and a half years.
On the side, I made cakes and foods to order, decorated parties, and did furniture repair.
Now, I find myself working at Gorongosa National Park as the Head of the Kitchen since May of 2014. I like to receive visits, above all children, at the Community Education Center.
