Mount Gorongosa is a special place that needs our care and protection. The ancient tropical rainforest atop Mount Gorongosa is home to some species that are found nowhere else on earth. It is a spiritual place where local people connect with their ancestors. And, the forest breathes life into the Park by supplying water to the rivers and lakes in the plains below. Some of the forest is lost every year and we are working quickly to plant trees on the mountain. Last year, our team planted thousands of trees with the help of staff and local volunteers. Next year, we hope to plant many more and we need your help.
A donation of $20 will plant 300 trees, $40 will plant 600 trees, and $100 will plant 1,500 trees. All donations are tax deductible.
