Gorongosa Lion Project

Worldwide, the population of Lions has plummeted from 450,000 a few decades ago to about 25,000 or less today. Gorongosa National Park was once a Lion stronghold, and we will become one once again. With your help, we are working to protect the prides that live here today.

Collars save lives. If a lion becomes ensnared in a trap, we can find out, and our team will work to free the lion. Each collar costs $2,500.

Celebrate this World Lion Day Aug 10th by donating and helping to save these beautiful animals.
