My first assignment when I arrived in Gorongosa was to help the lion research team satellite collar a big male lion.
Then I head out into the wilderness on a month long biological survey with an international team of scientists. The land rover is packed to the gills with camera equipment, camping gear and supplies. This is the first shoot of many. I'll be working in the park for the next 14 months. I meet the rest of the camera crew in Beira, Mozambique and a big adventure begins!
